<p>Children are returning to classrooms across the nation during one of the most tumultuous periods in American education, in which many thousands of teachers and other school workers — no one yet knows how many — were laid off in dozens of states because of plummeting state and local revenue. Many were hired back, thanks in part to $100 billion in federal stimulus money.</p>

<p>Penn Station.</p>
<p>The man with the beard is my Brother. He came down and spent a day with us in the city and then we all took the train back up to Vermont together.</p>
<p>Penn station seemed unnecessary stressful and disorganized. But it was really funny when our train showed up and all the sudden we found ourselves still in the middle of New York, but in a big line of people who were all obviously from Vermont.</p>
